Top Smart Phones Save You Time and Money

The top smart phones make your life easier and save you time and money. Here are a few examples of how they do that. When you’re getting ready to go on an unfamiliar trip, unless you have a photographic memory and have memorized all the roads, you’ll have to look up the routes. You’ll pull up the browser on your computer and try to pinpoint the best roads to travel to reach your destination.

Not only is that a time waster, it’s also a hassle if you end up leaving the directions lying at the house and only realize it an hour into your trip. The smart phones eliminate the need for this step because they come with GPS features. All you have to do is pack (too bad the phone can’t do that too!)

Another way the top smart phones can save you time and money is through the use of the Internet. Since you can tap right into the Internet with your smart phone, you won’t have to waste all your time off checking email or taking care of the 101 mundane online tasks that pile up.

You can take care of them throughout the day. There’s power even in five to ten minute increments. In five to ten minutes using the phone, you can send a needed document, nag your kids to make it home in time to have dinner as a family, confirm an appointment and even pay a bill or two.

You’ll save time because you’ll have everything in one place. You can do away with the need to keep up with paper calendars or to-do lists because you’ll have it all in your phone.

We’ve covered a few ways that the phone can save you time but how about saving you money? When you’re out of town and you need to move money from savings to your checking so you can pull it out at the ATM, all you have to do is access your bank account and switch the money over.

You can also use the phone to comparison shop. If you’re not sure you’re getting the best deal on a product, whip out your phone and search to see what the competition is offering. Some stores will even give you a better deal to keep your business if they see the competition beats their price.

Another great way that top smart phones can save you money is through the use of the applications. Many of these applications are available via free download. You can find applications that will help you know where and when to buy certain items for the best price. Personal finance applications will let you see where your money is being spent.

American consumers have spoken and as a result Android OS has been hailed as the top favorite OS of the second quarter.
The NPD Group, which is a leading market research industry, today announced results of its latest research for the second quarter of 2010. Based on the latest findings of the NPD, nearly 33 percent of phones sold conduct Android OS. Apparently this is the first time it ever since Q4 2007. RIM, which has always been at the top fell to second place with 28 percent, and the third only 22 percent of Apple.
Motorola and HTC are the two biggest reasons for the success of Android in the second quarter. It is based on consumer purchases in the U.S. in the U.S. top 5 Android Android phones that put on the lead(1) Motorola Droid,(2) Incredible HTC Droid(3), HTC EVO 4G(4), HTC Hero, and(5) HTC Droid Eris.
RIM has come back strongly in the first place and just go with Blackberry 6 OS and Blackberry Torch that soon will offer features such as capacitive touch screen and Webkit based browser which are characteristic for the recently released Android phones on the market. However, the upcoming Blackberry Torch missing big screen attraction, which is present in the best-selling devices such as Android Droid and Super EVO 4G.
Android, it seems that a number of advantages over its competitors, Apple and RIM, which makes their equipment is appropriate. From different manufacturers are building devices for Android, Google Android OS is certainly a good number of market share, because it can meet more manufacturers of smartphones. Some reports have shown that Android is already installed in one of every three smartphone retail market.

NPD has also announced that Verizon Wireless is still the top wireless carrier, packing 33 percent of the total sales of smartphones, and AT T to 25 percent, Sprint at 12 percent and T-Mobile of 11 percent.
It is also noted that there was a decrease in the number of smartphones purchased over the years. In addition, both the current popularity of smartphones and communicators is relatively increased the prices of almost all Mobile in the second quarter. In fact, the average selling price of mobile phones grew by 3 percent compared with last year and reached $90.
Looks like, despite these price increases, Android is still pretty good amount of sales that would eventually put it on top. Android, how long will be able to maintain the top position? RIM will be able to return to the top of the Blackberry and Blackberry OS 6 flashlight? These questions are yet to respond.

Defining a smartphone exactly is not at all easy. Broadly speaking, any high-end phone with multiple features and sophisticated functionalities is called so. Thus, price range, features, and functionalities are important factors in defining smartphones. Since these factors vary from phone to phone, and sometimes the difference is so little that setting parameters for labelling a phone becomes next to impossible. Yet, as of now, a full-fledged email support seems to be the key defining feature of smartphones.

According to tech gurus, there are two basic differences between ordinary mobile phones and smartphones: the way they are built and the things they can do. They are built by making use of open systems to take advantage of the skills, energy and innovation of numerous companies from a vast range of industries. This means that smartphones extend the traditional track record of mobile phones by constant and rapid improvement.

Moreover, BREW and Java ME devices have capabilities for installation of additional applications; but these devices are not yet considered smartphones. In addition to that the constant additions in capabilities of all mobile phones, the qualifying features of smartphones are getting complicated. For the finale, it can said that so long your phone is capable of offering the best of what a mobile phone has to offer, it will be regarded as a smartphones.
